Mountview School Organization Meeting
At 5:30 Al Bert, Rick Bates, Don Mancini and Marilynn Foley along with WRSD Superintendent Tom Pandiscio; Peter Brennan, WRSD comptroller; Mountview Principal Eric Githmark toured Mountview School.
Members present: Al Berg, Paul Challenger, Rick Bates, Don Mancini, Marilynn Foley
Members absent: Jim Dunn, Peter Lacy
Also Present: George Balko, Town Moderator
George called the meeting to order at 6:30.
A motion by Al, 2nd by Rick to elect Jim Dunn as Chairman was voted unanimously.
A motion by Rick, 2nd by Al to elect Don Mancini as Vice Chairman was voted unanimously.
A motion by Paul, 2nd by Rick to elect Marilynn Foley as Clerk was voted unanimously.
George shared some concerns with the Committee
George concluded his part of the meeting at 7:00.
The Committee discussed the special town meeting on November 8, 2010. Motion assignments are Paul, Mountview School feasibility study; Don, W/S Article; Al, Public Safety Building Bond rescinding.
A motion by Al, 2nd by Rick to recommend no action on the article to rescind the Public Safety Building Bond was voted unanimously.
A motion by Al, 2nd by Rick to support the feasibility study for Mountview School not to exceed $675,00.00 for non-excluded borrowing was voted unanimously.
A motion by Rick, 2nd by Al to approve the minutes of September 22, 2010 as corrected was voted unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:16.
